This Privacy Notice provides information about the personal data collected and processed by Demand Science Team in relation to the persons who apply for jobs with, and those who are eventually hired by, the Company. This explains what personal data is/are collected and processed, the purposes for which they are processed, who has access to the personal data, the security of the personal data, retention of personal data, how one case access and/or update his or her data, and how to delete the same.

The Company’s Human Resource Department collects and processes personal data of persons who apply for work with, and those who are eventually hired by, the Company, specifically:

Personal data is accessed exclusively for the above purposes. As such, only the following have access thereto:
SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
As a matter of policy, Demand Science Team will not share your personal information, without your consent, to third parties. It may however share your personal information with affiliates (e.g. parent and sister companies) under obligations of confidentiality.
SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA
Physical Human Resources files are kept under physical lock and key with only authorized personnel having access to the said files. Electronic copies exist temporarily during hiring process but are deleted upon completion of the vetting procedure. Human Resource data is stored in programs called JeonSoft ESS and Soonr. Both are secured and are only accessible to authorized Human Resource personnel. In any case, these systems are operated in a secure environment, with each system employing necessary security or encryption systems to deter unauthorized access.
RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
A retention period of six (6) months is implemented for all information submitted by applicants not considered by the Company for hiring. It will retain the name of the applicant to merely cross-check for future applications, consistent with the 6-month moratorium policy on re-applying candidates.
Personal information of those who are hired however are retained through their employment.
With regard to personnel whose employment relationship was severed from the Company, their employment records are kept for a period of ten (10) years, in case of possible labor and/or legal disputes; unless a longer period is required by law or contract, in which case, it will be retained for such period. Key information and those permitted to be redacted is subject to DPO approval.

You possess the several rights in relation to your personal information under the Data Privacy Act of 2012. These include the right to access, correction, and objection to the processing, including the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
You have a right to request access to your personal information. You may send us a request for access via email. Depending on the complexity and difficulty of the request, Demand Science Team may charge a fee for providing access to your personal information.
DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA
Deletion of personal data shall be in accordance with Demand Science Team’s Document and Data Retention and Disposal Policy and shall abide with all relevant laws taking into consideration the privacy and rights of the data subject.
